i heart Time Out New York

Laura Neilson, a writer for Time Out New York, asked me to come up with a diy project for their earth day issue. Inspired by sculptures and tote bags I've seen online, I made these rings out of shopping bags. The how-to can be seen on TONY's online edition. The print version comes out tomorrow.

prizes scavenged

well we put the hunt to rest earlier today. thanks to all of those who played and won!

for us it was a lesson in marketing- how to get our message out and realize it's sometimes harder to give things away than it is to sell them! we were left with some un-won prizes. so they'll go back into the pot and be used for another giveaway somewhere down the road.

for now it's back to photographing inventory for the new site and uploading info to the database. fun!?!
