Last night I had the good fortune of attending the brilliant Stan Apps' poetry reading at Unnameable Books in Prospect Heights. Stan is a good friend from my L.A. days, and he reads in NYC a couple of times a year. Stan is so good that even if you think you don't like poetry, you will instantly fall in love with his work if you attend a reading.
See him in all his awesomeness reading about
Elmo at last year's
Flarf Festival.

Hi, I found your blog and site from a comment you left over at fly and I really appreciate your design aesthetic and your concern for the environment. I too am a jewelry designer, but I use ALL new products and that has recently begun to clash with my desire to be proactive in “leaving a small footprint”. Anyhoo, I love your jewelry, definitely inspiring and beautiful just the same ;)
hey aquarian! beautiful blog you have!
for me, i've been doing the green thing for a long time, but I keep finding new ways to challenge myself and do it better. so if you want to start, start with one thing, and you'll find it has a domino effect. and you'll start affecting the people around you too.
when will your site be up? love to see your work.
